32 yr old man presents with haemetemesis and shock. on examination there were multiple scars over both knees, right hip and right hypochondrium. his liver is palpable 4 finger breadth below costal margin.
    A. gaucher disease
    B.wilson's disease
    C. haemochromatosis
    D.chronic active hepatitis
  2. The patient has haemochromatosis and needs to undergo several venesections as treatment depending upon his clinical symptoms and it will cause tissue iron to be mobilized and iron stores will return to normal. I Think the scars are as a result of venesections.
