    1)A female with a gush of 600 ml of blood following delivery of the placenta

    2)A female with a history of post-partum blood loss has just delivered a 3rd baby. She had blood transfusion in her last 2 pregnancies.

    3) A female with a history of PPH of 800 mls. The placenta has been delivered and it is complete on inspection. The uterus is well contracted.


    A) EUA of genital tact
    B) IV ergometrine
    C) IV syntocinon
    D) IV syntometrine
    E) Inspect the Placenta
    F) Intramural Injection
    G) Prostaglating injection
    H) IV fluids


    what is the differnce b/w ergometrine ,IV syntocinon , IV syntometrine
    ?what are there specific indications?
