    The following no of seats are available for admission to MBBS/BDS course in the year 2010-11 for non-resident Indian (NRI)

    Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal (MBBS NRI seats 05, UR – 03, ST – 01, SC - 01)

    MGM Medical College, Indore (MBBS NRI seats 05, UR – 03, ST – 01, SC - 01)

    GR Medical College, Gwalior (MBBS NRI seats 05, UR – 02, ST – 01, SC – 01, OBC - 01)

    NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur (MMBS NRI seats 05, UR – 02, ST – 01, SC – 01, OBC - 01)

    SS Medical College, Rewa (MBBS NRI seats 03, UR – 01, SC – 01, OBC - 01)

    Medical College Sagar (MBBS NRI seats 04, UR – 01, SC – 01, OBC - 01)

    College of Dentistry, Indore (BDS NRI seats 02, UR - 02)

    Admission is subjected to permission from govt of India, ministry of Health and family welfare

    Eligibility: The candidate should have passed with minimum 50% of aggregate marks in qualifying examination of 12th standard (10+2 stream) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject or equivalent examination thereof

    The proof/certificate must give particulars of the subject and also the percentage of marks obtained/grade awarded in the examination. Grades should indicate equivalent percentage

    The candidates, who have passed their examination from outside India, will have to produce equivalent certificate from association of Indian universities, New Delhi, at the time of counseling otherwise his/her candidature will not be considered. Candidate should have passed English as a language at 12th standard exam

    Candidates should be NRI/children of NRI

    The candidate should complete 17 year of age as on 31st December 2010

    Fees: Tuition fees US $12,000 per year or equivalent Indian rupees; Hostel fee Rs 10,000/- per year or equivalent US $; Caution money US $3000 or equivalent Indian rupees (same amount will be refunded in Indian rupees after completion of course); Student fund US $100 or equivalent in Indian rupees; Security deposit US $100 or equivalent in Indian rupees (same amount will be refunded in Indian rupees after completion of course); other fee as per rule of concerned university/college

    Candidate has to deposit tuition and other fee at the time of admission and fees is to be paid in one installment every year as per rule in the concerned college; no change of college will be permitted to NRI candidates after admission

    Application can be downloaded from website www.mp.nic.in/medicaleducation. Candidate has to submit application on the prescribed form along with bank draft of Rs 1000/- in the name of director, medical education, Bhopal payable at Bhopal.

    Application should reach the office of the director of medical education, govt of M.P., Satpura Bhavan, 6th floor, Bhopal latest by 25.06.2010. Application received after the last date will not be considered

    Counseling (scrutiny and allotment): Scrutiny and allotment of seats through counseling will be done based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination; Seats remaining vacant, after counseling for NRI seats, will be converted as per the existing reservation criteria and these seats shall be added to PMT counseling to be held and notified separately. The candidate has to deposit Rs 1000/- towards counseling charges, at the time of counseling.
