    A day 2 bay has a cephalhaematoma. Explain why he has an increased risk of becoming jaundice.

    In large cephalic haematomas there might be bleeding which gets haemolysed within them hence results anaemia and jaundice.....but this would be quite rare

    Jaundice is caused by the absorption of the hematoma
