    There is no journey more cherished than that of a successful entrepreneur.
    The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay endeavors to facilitate building
    your own enterprise and charting your own success story through its
    flagship event Eureka! – The International Business Plan Competition.

    ECell takes pleasure in inviting innovative entries for Eureka! 2006. The
    deadline for First Round – Submission of Executive Summary, is 15th
    January 2006.

    Highlights of the Eureka! –
    · The biggest Business Plan Competition in India in terms of
    participation, prizes and resources.
    · A separate track for Working Professional being launched this year.
    · An extremely reliable and thorough business plan competition because of
    it unique mentoring process and transparent judging.
    · Winners of Eureka! are invited in international business plan
    competitions like Global Startup, etc. as the team of choice from India.
    · Incentives
    Ø Opportunities to get incubation in 18 Technology Business Incubators
    across India.
    Ø Opportunities for Venture Capital funding through a wide network of VCs.
    Ø Extensive Mentoring for the finalists which can be continued even after
    the finals.
    Ø Cash Prizes: (combined for both the tracks)
    First Prize : Rs. 2,00,000
    Second Prize : Rs. 1,20,000
    Third Prize : Rs. 80,000

    Top Student Team : Rs 50,000
    (Amongst the remaining finalist)

    Structure of Eureka!
    Eureka! is held in three stages:

    1. The Executive Summary
    The Executive Summary round involves the submission of a 3-4 page summary
    (less than 1600 words) of the business plan.

    2. The Business Plan
    This stage calls for an exhaustive business plan that covers all the
    details from vision to mission, organization to ownership and marketing
    to exit plan. The teams clearing the first stage are provided with
    mentoring before they submit their business plans.

    3. The Final Presentation
    In the final round of Eureka! the selected teams make a detailed
    presentation to a panel comprising distinguished entrepreneurs and
    venture capitalists from across the globe. The finalists are given
    extensive mentoring for a period of 5-6 weeks to further refine their
    business plans before they make their final presentation.
