    Admission to Undergraduate courses in State Agricultural Universities 2012-13

    Govt of Maharashtra State has reserved 29 seats (one at each college) for the academic year 2012-13 for the following undergraduate degree courses in Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli in Maharashtra State for the wards of Displaced Citizens and wards of Officers/Staff of Military and Para-Military Forces/All-India Services posted to Combat Terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir state

    B.Sc (Agri) (14 seats), B.Sc (Hort) (05 seats), B.Sc (Forestry) (02 seats), B.F.Sc (01 seat), B.Sc (Agri Bio-Tech) (01 seat)

    Qualification: XII standard (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English

    Candidates, who had not offered Mathematics, shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university

    B.Sc (Food Tech): XII standard (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English

    B.Tech (Agril Engg): XII standard (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English

    B.Sc (Hons) (Home Science): XII standard passed in 10+2 or an equivalent examination in Arts/Science/ Commerce with English (admission is open for Male/Female candidates)

    Application Form: Application forms and prospectus shall be made available from 25th May, 2012 on http://oasis.mkcl.org/agriug

    Candidate should fill in application online on or before 20th June, 2012 and a download printout of the same

    The candidates are advised to paste recent passport size photograph on the duly filled in downloaded printout form and attach attested Xerox copies of the certificates and deposit Rs 600/- by challan in State Bank of India branch or through Net banking or by cash at authorised learning centre (ALC) of MKCL and submit the same to the Hon’ble Chief Secretary, Govt of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu on or before 25th June, 2012

    Attach Xerox copy of challan if amount deposited by challan

    Govt of Jammu and Kashmir will arrange to verify the Migration Displacement Certificate of the candidates and only valid applications will be forwarded by the State Govt of Jammu and Kashmir to the MKCL, ICC Trade Tower, ‘B’ Wing, 5th Floor, Above Crossword, Senapati Bapat Road, Shivajinagar, Pune-411016, Maharashtra on or before 30th June, 2012

    The Xerox copies of the following additional certificates, application form should be submitted along with certificate mentioned in the prospectus

    For the Govt servants or persons serving in Military or Para-Military forces, certificate from Head of Dept/University where they are serving

    Those staying in Migrant/Refugee camps and those are registered with Govt as Migrant, should submit certificate from the officer or Migrant/Refugee camp

    Displaced persons staying with relatives/friends anywhere in the country other than refugee camp, should enclose a certificate from District Magistrate of the district where they are staying to the effect that the parents/guardian of the candidate is displaced person from Jammu and Kashmir State due to recent disturbance (1990 onwards)

    The candidates are advised that if any of the certificate mentioned above is not in English or Hindi, a copy of English translation duly signed by Head Master/Principal of recognized Institute and attested by Gazetted Govt Officer of Jammu and Kashmir Govt should be enclosed
