    PSEUDO-GAUCHER CELL—OSMIUM TETROXIDE is a fat stain and they will identify phospholipid membrane of damaged cell. This is feature of proliferative leukemic cells which are dying and their membrane is phagocytosed by histiocytes (a/k/a SEA BLUE HISTIOCYTES) in bone marrow .these are a/k/a Pseudo-Gaucher cell........gaucher cell will be positive for ---PAS and PERL's PRUSSIAN BLUE (iron stain)
